Prior to the party, make or purchase roughly enough paper party hats for all guests. Party guests form a circle, and all the children except one receive a party hat. Music is started, and the party hats must get passed from head to head. When the music is stopped, the player not wearing a party hat leaves the circle and one hat is discarded. The game continues until there is one player – the winner – left.
